On Saturday, December 10, enjoy local goods, carols, and lots more Christmas fun for all the family - all in the heart of Fort Langley. The post Christmas on King Street Festival appeared first on Andy Schildhorn, PREC.

On Saturday, December 10, head along to King Street for the first of what is planned to become an annual festival. Centred around a market selling the work of local artisans, the festival will also feature live entertainment and lots of family activities. Wander the stalls of BC vendors as you enjoy the sound of carollers – it’s the perfect way to do your Christmas gift shopping or even pick up a Christmas tree, if you haven’t already! Take a photograph in a carriage or sleigh for a memento of the event.

The Christmas on King Street Festival is being put on thanks to the hard work of the Langley Arts Council, Centennial Museum and BC Farm Museum.

SURREY, BC – The Fraser Valley market showed early signs of a spring thaw in February, with sales increasing over January, but continuing to trail typical levels for this time of year. The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board recorded 843 sales on its Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in February, a 36 per cent increase from January, but 38 per cent below the ten-year seasonal average. New listings declined nine per cent in February to 2,796, suggesting some sellers are choosing to wait amid competitive inventory levels, and may be positioning their homes for the peak of the spring market.
