To refresh a room, it’s not always necessary to fully redecorate. Here are a few simple things you can do to update a room:
- Paint it – Perhaps the most obvious. A fresh coat of paint in a new colour can completely change the mood of a room.
- Put something new on the wall – Switch up the art or photographs hanging on the walls for a new feel.
- Get some new textiles – New curtains, new cushion covers or a new rug are all easy ways to alter a room.
- Add an accent wall – With either a coat of paint or some bold wallpaper, an accent wall is a quick way to add personality to a room.
