Celebrate Family Day at Fort Langley

Fort Langley always does a great job of putting on events for the various holidays, and this year’s Family Day is no exception. On February 12, 2017, there will be a full program of events for the whole family to enjoy. Head down to the Fort Langley National Historic Site from 10:30am right through until 3:30pm. All the activities explore different aspects of life in the 1800s, getting kids interested in history in a practical way. See below for a full program and visit the website for more details.

  • 10:30 am – Children’s Chores—What did kids do? Time to get to work!
  • 11:00 am – Nature Walk—What did families gather to eat?
  • 12:00 pm – Canada 150: Fort Langley puts BC on the Map—What part did families play?
  • 12:30 pm – Historic Weapons
  • 1:00 pm – Children’s Chores—What did kids do? Time to get to work!
  • 1:30 pm – Nature Walk—What did families gather to eat?
  • 2:30 pm – Canada 150: Fort Langley puts BC on the Map
  • 3:00 pm – Historic Weapons
  • 3:30 pm – Children’s Chores—What did kids do? Time to get to work!
