Langley Farmers Market & Music Make for a Popular Merge

Adrian Tang's biggest seller so far has been zucchini.
The 11-year-old's booth at the Langley Community Farmers Market has that as well as purple cauliflower, squashes, specialty mushrooms, and more.
"It's fun and mostly the zucchini sell very well," he said.
While it's the zucchini that's selling, it's the mushrooms that elicit the most questions from the public. Many want to learn about an item that looks like a speckled paper towel roll. It's a home mushroom growing kit that Adrian sells.
Farmers markets require that the items be grown, baked or made locally. Vendors can sign up for the Langley Community Farmers Market to attend as many of the markets as they want.
Callie Schwab decided to test the waters with a booth at the market and was pleased with the result. She was at the July 24 market with a table laden with her crocheted items that includes bags, keychains, stuffed toys, and flowers.
