Andy Schildhorn MacDonalad Realty and welcome to our November Newsletter
The federal election has given us an Liberal minority government. What does that mean for housing? Got a great article on that. This month our featured listing is #30 8716 Walnut Grove Drive. A family friendly townhome in the heart of Walnut Grove. Rita Cousins our mortgage consultant talks to us about
Fixed or Variable mortgages and what is best for you. Irina Bartnik Notary Public cautions us on
GST and when it could be applicable. Our Langley infographic tells us sales volumes are still up but prices are low. Selin and Wolfgang Schmelcher are the best. We had a lot of fun selling their home and getting them into their new residence. All the best to both of you.
In the news we have an article about Metro Vancouver
adding about $8.00 to your property tax bill for parks and affordable housing. We also have some questions to consider
when buying a new home.
If you were thinking about buying or selling lets talk, I have some strategic angles for this time of year.

The Township is offering a variety of free and low-cost outdoor events in every neighbourhood during July and August. “Summer Nights in the Township is a series of free and low-cost family-friendly events held throughout the Township that are open to residents and non-residents. Everyone is welcome to attend. We try to rotate events throughout the Township to give people the opportunity to enjoy a free experience close to home,” said special events manager, Kevin Muirhead. “This year’s lineup includes concerts, movies in the park, Family Fun Nights and a Community Water Fight. Plus, we have our popular events at The Outdoor Experience at Aldergrove Community Centre returning this year as well.” Concerts at the Willoughby Community Park Amphitheatre every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. will showcase talented musicians from different genres, while outdoor movies at various parks will feature family-friendly films.
